Galaxy Spatioplotter generates galaxies using a newly developed algorithm. The goal of the research was to find an algorithm that can generate many known galaxy shapes by changing the initial parameters of a stellar kinetics simulation.
It uses three basic observations and theories: “Galaxy Rotation Curve”, “Stochastic Self-Propagating Star Formation (SSPSF)”, and “Density Wave (DW) theory”. By combining these theories, I found it possible to explain various galaxy shapes, such as spiral arms and bars, and a possible sequence of galaxy evolution.
